This high quality violin practice mute fits 4/4, 3/4, and 1/2 size violins, and grips strongly to the bridge to suppress the sound.
As this mute is made entirely out of rubber, it's the recommended option for young beginners. It does drastically change the sound of the violin, so we do recommend regular practice without too!
This product is also suitable for viola.
This style of mute is very effective, or for maximum muting, you may also consider a metal violin practice mute, though these do make it a little easier to mark / damage the bridge.
